Moscow Exchange says to consider stock trade from 7 am in 2021

MOSCOW, Oct 20 (PRIME) -- The Moscow Exchange will consider launching morning trading sessions starting at 7:00 a.m, Moscow time, on the stock market in 2021, Managing Director for sales Igor Marich said.

"We plan to launch (trading sessions) on the foreign currency and futures market in the first quarter. As for the stock market, we have no plans, we will discuss it next year as we see the results, including of the futures and foreign currency market," Marich said.

He also said that Russia is looking at the S&P 500 list in order to determine how to extend the list of traded shares but is considering adding shares from the European indices as well.
